We all enjoy the ‘personal touch’ when it comes to customer service – it can make a mundane transaction into one that you’ll remember for years. And that’s certainly what loyal HotUKDeals member eON got when he ordered some batteries from online gadget suppliers I Want One Of Those. Check out these nice little notes from one of their dispatch gurus that came with them. (warning – contains sexual swearwords)
Bit harsh, no? eON says: “I bought 4 packs of batteries in the iwoot sale, £1.99 each using the £2 Matchmakers vouchers making them free… don’t know if they didn’t like that or what.
“First thought was that they might have been tampered with but no signs of it and the yellow sheets look suspiciously like they might be the backing for the front address stickers. I have written to both I Want One Of Those and Nestle (about the Matchmakers promotion), not had a reply yet but didn’t really expect one over the new year.”
We’ve sent iwoot a rude note on the back of a fag packet, asking them what they think about all of this. We’ll let you know what they say.
