Drop In iOS Photo Picker Replacement That Allows User To Choose Photos From Different Online Albums

Drop In iOS Photo Picker Replacement That Allows User To Choose Photos From Different Online Albums:

The built in image picker on iOS devices makes it easy to choose photos from your iOS photo album, but many users also use services such as Facebook and Flickr for storing photos.

Recently I found out about a component (free to use – although there may be premium extras in the future) that acts as a an alternative to the image picker built into the iOS SDK and allows users to not only choose images from the camera roll, and photo stream, but also from online services – namely Instagram, Picasa, Flickr, and Facebook.

Here’s a video demonstrating the photo picker in action:

The photo picker is known as Photo Picker Plus and provided by Chute – you will need to register to use the component which you can do on the official site here.

You can download the component on Github here.

Being able to choose photos from different online services is definitely a very useful feature.

Thanks to Ranvir for the submission.
